Hand Picked Wines, based in Kent, are importers of exclusive fine wines, from Bordeaux, Champagne and the Mosel valley in Germany. These wines have been specially chosen for the UK consumer and on-trade sector, so we make a point of knowing each winemaker personally.
Our owner (see About) is from the Baron Velge estate family, who make their two wonderful Saint-Estephes, Chateau Clauzet and Chateau de Come (see Categories on the left hand column under Red Wine) in Leyssac, near the tiny village of Saint-Estephe, and not far from all the great vineyards of Pauillac, Margaux and other left bank greats.
So you can rely on a passionate touch in everything we do, because we truly care about what you are drinking and insist that it be the best quality and value.
We run wine tasting events (see Tasting Party), where you can try any of our wines before you commit to buy in the comfort of your own home!
